If loc door is flashing in the display of your range or wall oven and the self clean cycle has not been selected first check to make sure the control lockout feature was not engaged. Disconnect the power supply to the range before removing the rear panel. Again wait for at least another 20 seconds. Push the clean button on the range s control panel for the self cleaning cycle while continuing to hold in the doorjamb switch.

If no food or utensils are in the oven start a self clean cycle then hit clear off after 60 seconds. If that does not unlock the door run a short self clean cycle 1 2. Press off and hold for 6 seconds. Range oven door won t unlock.

The lock light is blinking. Set the oven to self clean. The door lock light keeps blinking. Consult your owner s manual for directions specific to your model.

The lock on my frigidaire self cleaning oven is stuck in the locked position my oven door is open. Wait 10 seconds before completing the next step. If there is food in the oven let the oven cool to room temperature and try to unlatch the door. Wait a minute or two and then try to open it again.

Wait at least 20 seconds before you cancel the self clean setting on the oven. My oven is un usable. Lock will appear in the display the door locked indicator light will flash and the door lock will begin to close. Allow the cleaning cycle to run for about 60 seconds and then cancel it.

My oven door won t close. I have tried cancell trying to move the lock manually it won t move and unplugging from the wall. The oven door has been locked accidentally. Report this by tracey galloway.

There is a metal rod key 88 that connects the lock motor to the door latch key 18. If you remove the rod from the lock motor and then push or pull the rod the door latch will unlock the door. If it s still locked start an oven cleaning cycle. See image below note.

It s locked with the door open and now won t close. To cancel the oven lock feature press off and hold for 6 seconds. Allow about 15 seconds for the oven door to lock. I have a frigidaire oven.
